At PHEIA, our community flourishes under the guidance of elected leaders and the generous voluntary contributions of our members. These contributions are essential, they empower us to maintain our unique, exclusive neighborhood and champion initiatives that enrich the Peralta Hills experience. Your support truly makes a difference.
To clarify our role, it’s important to understand the key differences between a Neighborhood Association (NA) and a Homeowners Association (HOA):
- Membership Structure:
- NA Membership: Voluntary and informal, welcoming anyone who wishes to participate in community advocacy and events.
- HOA Membership: Mandatory and tied to property ownership through deed restrictions.
- Responsibility:
- NAs: Focus on advocacy, fostering community events, and promoting general well- being in our neighborhood. Maintaining communal property is a collective initiative.
- HOAs: Own and maintain common properties, such as recreational facilities, parks, and roads.
PHEIA embodies the spirit of a Neighborhood Association by prioritizing community engagement and advocacy. Join us as we work together to uphold and enhance the character of Peralta Hills, because every contribution helps create a better, more vibrant community.
Pay Dues
Our annual dues have the following levels:
- Platinum — $5,000
- Gold — $1,000
- Silver — $500
- Bronze — $250
- Custom Amount

Our Association dues are dedicated to the ongoing beautification and maintenance of our prestigious neighborhood. They help fund essential initiatives such as landscaping, regular maintenance, and our neighborhood watch vehicle, all of which contribute to a safe and visually appealing community.
Your contributions also support the management of our Association, as well as the production, mailing, of our quarterly newsletter, The Gazette, and our community website, ensuring that you stay informed and connected.
